Spooky Haunted Locations You've Never Heard Of...Part 5!

California - Rescue

You may not want to venture out to Bass Lake Road in the dead of night. The road is home to several apparitions of spirits that roam the area. An abundance of paranormal activity has been reported here. The apparition of a young girl in white is seen near the reservoir and disappears into the water. A smiling old man often appears sitting on a bench. Other paranormal witnesses describe seeing the apparition of a man on the trails before he vanishes before their eyes.

Montana - Bozeman

The Bozeman tunnels run under Main Street and are the subject of many Urban Legends. It's believed the tunnels were constructed to transport alcohol during the prohibition era. The tunnels are also thought to have housed opium dens. The paranormal activity within the tunnels and the Boseman Creek are believed to be caused by the ghosts of those who never made it out. Two young girls are rumored to have drowned in the tunnels and continue to haunt the Bozeman Creek. Some psychics say this area has a high concentration of energy resulting in paranormal sightings of apparitions.

Florida - St. Johns River/Seminole County

Along the St. Johns River is an area of trees called Round Cypress Head. It's only accessible by boat. The legend, which has been around since the prohibition era, states a shape-shifting demon lives amongst the trees. Hunters and fisherman were warned to stay away from Round Cypress Head or be consumed by the demon. The paranormal events witnessed have been moaning sounds, bending trees, strange smells and many men have gone missing here.

Missouri - Auxvasse

Allegedly, black women were hung from the 9 Mile Bridge and slave children were drown in the creek. The paranormal accounts of the 9 Mile Bridge mainly revolve around the ghosts of these people. It's said that if you take off your shoes and sit on the edge you will feel phantom hands of the slave children tickling your feet. Paranormal orbs of light are seen under the bridge and within the trees along the creek. Paranormal witnesses claim to have seen hand and footprints on their cars after leaving them parked for an hour or more. The apparition of a woman is also seen walking the bridge at night.

Wyoming - Powell

Heart Mountain Relocation Center was an internment camp for Japanese Americans during World War 2. Many paranormal experiences have been reported at this location over the years. Visitors to the center have heard unexplained noises and phantom footsteps as well as witnessed apparitions. The most reported paranormal activity here is seeing dark shadow spirits roaming around.

Iowa - Fort Dodge

The Banwell Bridge, AKA Terror Bridge, is a rural secluded bridge on Fairbanks Ave and has a very creepy history dating back to the 1800s. Legend has it that an angry farmer cursed the area. Paranormal activity and apparition sightings have occurred ever since and continue to this day. One disturbing story is about a woman who brought her children to the bridge then threw them in front of an oncoming train. When she finished, she jumped to her death. Locals believe if you leave your car doors unlocked while parked on the bridge, she will drag you out and throw you over. Some of the paranormal sightings here have even been of Bigfoot!
