A devastating space war has begun above Earth’s atmosphere already — according to wild claims online. Last month US president Donald Trump revealed plans to develop a “Space Force” to roam the solar system. The 71-year-old said: “Space is a war-fighting domain, just like the land, air, and sea. “So think of that, Space Force, because we are spending a lot and we have a lot of private money coming in, tremendous.” And following the statement, claims have surfaced online that the US may have met its match in a battle above the skies.
In a video posted on YouTube channel streetcap1, the skyline is dominated by a huge flash of light – that conspiracy theorist George Smith claims is evidence of an explosion. He then switches to a live camera in Mexico — where the incident was filmed — which reveals the Sun looking “abnormally large”.
