Religion as we know it will be a thing of the past when artificial intelligence creates a new form of collective consciousness, US author Dan Brown believes. Technological advancement and the development of AI will transform the concept of the divine, according to the Da Vinci Code author.
Speaking at the Frankfurt Book Fair, Mr Brown he admitted his prediction may not be welcomed by clerics, but called for greater harmony between the world's great religions and those who profess no faith. He said: "Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all share a gospel, loosely, and it's important that we all realise that. "Our religions are much more similar than they are different. "We will start to find our spiritual experiences through our interconnections with each other.
